Lynn Grabhorn
From her publisher...
Author of several books and a great friend of Hampton Roads, made her transition to the other side on May 5, 2004. We will miss her.
Lynn is best known for Excuse Me, your Life Is Waiting, which she self-published, jump-started, and then handed over to us in 1999.
Besides Excuse Me, Lynn authored four books:
Beyond the Twelve Steps: Roadmap to a new life (1992)
Excuse Me, Your Life Is Waiting Playbook (2001)
Dear God! What’s Happening to Us? (2003)
Planet Two: Earth in a Higher Dimension… Are You Ready? (2004)
All of which can be purchased at, www.hrpub.com
In addition she created “Life Course 101,” a several tape set no longer available, and an audio version (tape-cassette or CD) of Excuse Me that she narrated herself. Information on all this, plus personal words from Lynn and information on study groups, are all available at www.lynngrabhorn.com.
So much for Lynn as author. Let’s talk about Lynn the person.
Four years ago, Lynn brought us a best-selling book, and then several additional titles. Foreign editions of Excuse Me, plus the paperback edition, brought in money that we sorely needed. So you’d figure that she would throw her weight around, right? Particularly given that she was strong-willed, definite in her opinions, and knew what she wanted. (God had better watch out!)
Not so. She was a sweetheart. She always thought about us and our needs. Last year, knowing that we were hard-pressed for money, she told us to just owe it to her and not worry about it, so long as we could make a minimum payment. How many best-selling authors would do something like that?
Lynn was in severe, nearly unbearable pain for the past few years, which is one reason why she couldn't promote her books as she had intended to. She was convinced that this was, as she put it, “her body frequency was being adjusted upward” to assist her transition to what she called planet two – Earth in a higher dimension. Was she right? Well, we can’t prove it one way or another, but she did say that her doctors were unable to find a conventional cause for her illness.
Long-time illness and pain will drag you down. I’m sure that our friend Lynn is experiencing great relief now. She has our prayers and best wishes, and I’m sure she has yours as well.
As I said, she will be missed.

Doreen Banaszak
Coach & Teacher
I have had the honor of coaching people for the past 5 years to not only see, but take action toward the greater possibilities of their lives.
I have coached people into new careers, careerists into entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs into new businesses. Through it all I have been reminded of Lynn's primary principle, that how we feel attracts what we experience.
I read "Excuse Me..." probably 2 years ago. I, like most, immediately connected to this notion of feelings and the powerful attractive force they create. I too had been exposed to Abraham Hicks and like Lynn, started to recognize very quickly the power of consciously creating my experience through feelings.
I also noticed that Lynn's 4 step process was very similar in principle to the steps that I take my client's through. It was clear that Lynn and I were on the same page, so to speak.
About a year and a half later, I decided to run a book group on "Excuse Me...". When I went to Lynn's site to inquire about permission, I was saddened to find that she had passed. I then sent an email to Hampton Roads to obtain permission, but didn't hear back from them.
During this time I was in the process of evaluating my own coaching practice and trying to figure out how I could connect with my ideal client. I followed Lynn's steps, I figured out what I didn't want, got clear on what I did want, I started to visualize these clients pouring into my practice and then I just started looking for signs.
Imagine my surprise a month later when I heard back from Hampton Roads...not only did they think my book group was fine, more importantly they were looking for someone to continue Lynn's message and would I be interested in that.
I met with the folks at Hampton Roads and left with a book contract to write the follow-up, due for release in Spring 2007, "Excuse Me, Your Life Is Now".
I remember thinking in my head, when Jack offered me the book deal, "JUST SAY YES!". I like to think that was Lynn giving me the nudge I needed to get beyond the fear and continue to see the signs of my true possibilities.
I could never in a million years "hi ho silvered" my way into this situation. By putting my attention on "what" I wanted and not "how" I was going to get it, I was able to see the signs of opportunity more clearly.
Lynn's principles are proven to work over and over again both in my life and the lives of so many others who have implemented them and that is why I am so excited to carry on and take her message to the next level...
ARE YOU READY?
